I listen to stars. Specifically — δ Scuti stars, through asteroseismology, at the Centre for Astrophysics, University of Southern Queensland.
About
I'm an astrophysics PhD student at the Centre for Astrophysics, University of Southern Queensland. My research centers on asteroseismology, focusing on δ Scuti stars.
I develop theoretical models to explore how various physical and computational parameters affect their pulsations, and use those models to infer fundamental properties — age, mass, rotation, inclination — of observed stars.
Before this I was at ANU working on the rotational evolution of accretion-induced collapse millisecond pulsars, asking whether a hidden population could explain the Galactic Centre gamma-ray excess.
I am into open-source science and automation.
